Street Ambassador Program
Creating Safety Through Presence, Not Policing
Our Street Ambassadors serve as the eyes, ears, and welcoming face of your neighborhood. They build relationships that make communities safer without relying on traditional law enforcement approaches.
What Street Ambassadors Do
Community Presence & Engagement
Street Ambassadors patrol designated areas on foot, bicycle, or vehicle, providing consistent, friendly presence that increases feelings of safety among residents and visitors.
Assistance & Wayfinding
Ambassadors help visitors navigate your neighborhood, provide directions, offer information about local services, and assist with minor concerns.
Conflict De-escalation
Using trauma-informed approaches, Street Ambassadors can calm tense situations through communication rather than force.
Reporting & Response
Ambassadors document safety concerns, maintenance issues, and individuals in distress, serving as the link between communities and service providers.
